Top of the table Eastern Conference clash, Raptors v Bucks Preview

It’s an Eastern Conference Finals rematch, a first verse second clash and a battle of two powerhouses in the east.

Raptors currently hold a 49-19 record.

Bucks currently hold a 55-15 record.

The Bucks have taken both the last two games, with both these sides taking losses in their last games respectively.

The talk of the Raptors team is Lowry’s leadership and massive margin of points since last season. He currently averages 19.5 points, 5 more points than he did last year. Although he isn’t a primary shooter, he is still number one in charges this season, showing his competitiveness and drive to ensure a Raptors victory. Be sure to look out for him during this matchup. In the last matchup between these two sides, he put up 10 points.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been the core of the Bucks team since the restart. He dropped 36 points against the Celtics, and is once again putting up MVP calibre numbers. He currently averages 29.8 points per game (3rd in the NBA), as well as 13.7 rebounds (4th in the NBA).

The big match up to look forward to is the battle of the guards Fred Van Vleet and Khris Middleton. Van Vleet put up a career high 36 points in a win over the Heat, and is averaging a career high 17.8 points. Meanwhile, first time all-star Khris Middleton is having the season of his career, with a points per game of 21.1.

This will surely be the matchup of the week, although no positions will be affected, bragging rights will be up for grabs.
