Toby Alderweireld Departs Tottenham

The Tottenham centre-back departs the club Al Duhaliafter 6 trophyless years. He made over 150 appearances at Spurs with 8 goals. He will join Qatari club Al Duhail for a fee of 13 million pounds. He will join fellow countryman Edmilson Junior, who has made 52 appearances and scored 20 goals at the club at the age of 26. Alderweireld goes into the club as the third international player. Alderweireld has also played for Ajax, Atlético Madrid and Southampton, before joining the Spurs. He is still only 32 years old.
