The Toronto Raptors Trade Away Veteran Point Guard
After trading away their veteran point guard Kyle Lowry, the Raptors received Goran Dragic and Precious Achiuwa from the Miami Heat. One, has been a key player for the Raptors for now and for the future, another, a disappointed veteran point guard who expressed his disinterest in playing in Toronto even before he put on the shirt. He has only played 5 games for the Raptors before being away from the team for ‘personal reasons’ since November.
The Raptors receive Thaddeus Young who is averaging 6.1 points per game this season, for veteran experience and Drew Eubanks, who is averaging 4.7 points in 12 minutes as the Raptors search for a proper Centre as Pascal Siakam has been playing that position as a forward.
Drew Eubanks has been waived by the Toronto Raptors.
The San Antonio Spurs and Goran Dragic are going to negotiate a buyout for the Slovenian former all-star.
