Martin Odegaard Signs for Arsenal Permanently

After spending last season on loan in London, the Real Madrid midfielder and starlet has signed a permanent deal with the Gunners. Still only 22, Odegaard has had 4 different loan spells, one with Heerenveen, Vitesse, Real Sociedad and Arsenal. Although he did not make any appearances at Arsenal his role as a CAM will be vital for Arsenal to help them secure European football again. He bagged a goal last season in the Europa League for the club.

From 2015-2021 Odegaard made less than 10 appearances at Real Madrid, after coming from Real Madrid Castilla. The deal is worth just short of 40 million Euros. Real Madrid bought him for only 3 million Euros way back in 2015 as a 17 year old. The only piece of silverware he has so far is the Copa Del Ray for Real Sociedad in 2019-20 at the age of 22.

Arsenal fans should get excited as the future for this CAM is still very much exciting.
