Liverpool sell Dejan Lovren to Zenit

Liverpool have officially sold Lovren to Russian side Zenit. The defender contributed to the Premier League, Champions League, Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup triumphs.

In 2014 Liverpool signed the Croatian defender, for 20 million pounds, since then he made 131 appearances and scored 5 goals.

The fee is reported to be around 10.9 million Pounds.

Lovren only made 10 PL appearances in 19/20, and looks to find first team action under Zenit.

Lovren’s most famous moment was against Dortmund when he scored the winner, sending them to the 2016 UEFA Europa League semi finals.
