Lionel Messi Leaves Barcelona

Due to financial troubles at FC Barcelona, an agreement between both Messi and Barcelona was agreed for the star player to leave the club.

Messi was at the club for his whole career. Making his appearance for the first team in 2004. 17 years later, and he made over 700 appearances and scored over 600 goals he also bagged 300 assists. He is considered one of the greatest players to ever play the game of football.

On top of his loyalty, accolades were at an all time high during his time at Barcelona. He won the La Liga 10 times, the Copa Del Ray 7 times, 7 Supercoppa’s, 4 Champions Leagues, 3 Super Cups and 3 Club World Cups. The biggest accolades of them all is claiming 6 Balon d’Ors and winning the Copa America with Argentina recently.

However, this announcement could swing in favour for Barcelona and the La Liga could readjust its regulations in order to keep the man at Barcelona.
