Lewis Hamilton Takes First Position in Austria
6 time world champion Lewis Hamilton takes home more points for Mercedes as he takes the number one position for the first time this season. Mercedes win in two consecutive weekends. Hamilton stayed first the whole race. Several times he had the fastest lap.
Three racers were out of the race, Ocon, Leclerc and Vettel. The Ferrari duo were out of the race early after hitting each other, from a Leclerc mistake.
Bottas’ finish in second means that Mercedes have their first one two on this track since 2015. Max Verstappen completes the top three, by finishing third. Sainz takes the extra point for the fastest lap.
