LaMelo Ball Expected to Miss the Rest of the Season

Former NBL Rookie of the Year and current NBA Rookie LaMelo Ball, and brother of Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball is expected to miss the rest of the NBA season after breaking his wrist. This injury was sustained in their loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

Lonzo Ball has been a clear favourite to win the Rookie of the Year award. The Number 3 pick overall is averaging 15.9 points per game, 6.1 assists and 5.9 rebounds.

Ball has helped the Hornets cement themselves in a playoff position, and are constantly hunting for it this season. The injury sustained by the dubbed future star is a huge blow for the Charlotte Hornets.
