
La Liga Title Race Heating Up
After Barcelona’s 0-0 draw to Sevilla, the floodgates are open for the crowing of the next La Liga champions, with Real Madrid narrowly behind.
Real Madrid are looking for their first title since 2012/13.
Real Madrid face Real Sociedad away in order to tie on top of the table with FC Barcelona. Real Madrid have lost less games than Barca, but their eight draws is what sets them apart. However, this is not easy, with Real Sociedad taking three wins out the last five against Real Madrid. Real Sociedad will be pushing for a win in order to earn a top 4 spot and push Atletico Madrid out of that third spot. The last meeting between these sides ended in a win for Real Sociedad.
FC Barcelona’s boring 0-0 draw with Sevilla has ultimately put the competition wide open, with the top two ultimately playing for the title this late into the season, it is going to be a whirlwind of an end to the season.
