Kyriakos Papadopoulos Linked with Lamia

Greek centre back Kyriakos Papadopoulos looks to rekindle his career with a move back to Greece.

After leaving Olympiakos in 2010, Papadopoulos has been in Germany, most recently playing his trade in Hamburg.

Plagued with injuries his whole career, he has made less than 100 appearances for all the clubs he has played for. After 3 years with Hamburg, he made 32 appearances.

A move to Lamia could spark more recognition for the Greek National Team. Only 28, he has made 29 appearances for the Ethniki since 2011.

Lamia are in the Relegation Group within the Super League, and a signing like this could bolster both sets of parties. Lamia could push further up in the Super League standings, whilst Kyriakos Papadopoulos could make a further name for himself, whilst returning to Greece.
