Kyle Lowry Signs with Miami Heat

Kyle Lowry is set to sign for Miami Heat in a sign-and-trade on a 3 year deal. Lowry played 9 seasons with the Raptors in which he had a run of playoff stings from 2013-2020 and secured an NBA championship in 2019. On top of this, his accolades also include 6 all-star appearances, an Olympic medal and an all-NBA third team appearance.

He is also leading the franchise in assists. The Raptors have lost key players from their championship run, including Ibaka, Gasol and now Lowry. He averaged 17.2 points per game last season and missed 26 games in a disappointing season which saw the Raptors miss playoffs for the first time since 2013.

He will make $30 million a year. This deal has secure Jimmy Butler the super-max who, is great friends with Lowry. Jimmy Butler is set to make $184 million in a 4 year deal.
