Kristaps Porzingis Traded to the Washington Wizards

The former all-star is heading to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie and Davis Bertans. The Wizards also receive a future second-round pick.

Porzingis has struggled with injuries and Wizards and the Mavericks struck a deal for the big man. He has been sidelined for 21 of 55 games this season, with the club disappointed in the ill connection between Doncic and Porzingis.

While Spencer Dinwiddie will arrive as another backcourt scoring option and Bertans returns to the state of Texas to supply his trade in Dallas. But the main headline of this trade is the fact that, both clubs gain a Latvian.
