Josh Giddey Drafted by OKC

Adelaider 36ers guard Josh Giddey becomes the first Aussie selected in a lottery pick since Ben Simmons after being selected 6th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Josh Giddey is known for his vision and passing which will help in excel in the NBA. Although he did not join the Olympics squad, he played in the pre-Olympics match against Nigeria and excelled in a team full of star studded NBA players. Josh Giddey was the youngest player to get a triple double in the NBL and is still only 18 years of age. He was also the NBL Rookie of the Year in 2021.

The Thunder finished with a 22-50 record last season and will hope the addition of Giddey will help them at least get a better record than last season.
