Jose Mourinho appointed Roma Manager

Two weeks after being sacked by Tottenham Hotspur, Jose Mourinho has been appointed as the manager of Roma.

Mourinho has signed a 3 year deal. Roma has stated their intent to grab Mourinho was due to his successful track record in Italy, Spain, Portugal and England. He is the only manager to win both the Champions and Europa League with 2 different clubs.

Mourinho indicated that the fans also pushed him to join the club. He has returned to Italy, with his last stint being from 2008-2010 at Inter, in which he won 2 Serie A titles and a Champions League. Roma have had a tough season, sitting 7th.
