Jokic Wins NBA MVP

Serbian center Nikola Jokic becomes the lowest ever draft pick to win NBA MVP. The Nuggets star beat out Steph Curry and Joel Embiid in order to claim the illustrious prize.
This is the first time in 21 years that a center has won the award. He set career highs in points with 26.4, FG% (56.6%) and assists (8.3). He matched his career high rebounds with 10.8. He helped his Denver Nuggets side finish third and continues this run of consecutive non American MVP’s. The Nuggets look to have an extensive playoff run as they continue to battle against the Phoenix Suns.
