Gianluigi Donnarumma Signs for PSG
Former AC Milan, recently Euro 2020 winner and Italian goalkeeper Donnarumma has signed for PSG on a five-year deal. This comes after Milan and the player could not agree terms and subsequently, led to the departure of the player who made over 200 appearances for the club since he rose through the ranks at just 16 years old.
Donnarumma kept 14 clean sheets last season, which was the highest with Handanovic to help AC Milan with their best finish in a season since the 2011-12 season.
The Italian goal stopper is only 22 years old and won the Euro Player of the Tournament, this will be a huge boost to a squad already filled with world class players.
Milan director Paulo Maldini claimed that Donnarumma was looking elsewhere, so this move was looking to happen sooner rather than later especially since he was linked with moves to Juventus and Manchester United also.
The only trophy he won in Italy was the Supercoppa Italiana in 2016.
PSG have also signed Hakimi, Ramos, Wijnaldum and Pereira in this transfer market.
