Cristiano Ronaldo Returns to Manchester United After a 12 Year Absence

With only a year left on his contract at his current club Juventus, Ronaldo announced that he was leaving the club after 3 years in Italy.

The 5 time Balon d’Or player will return to the club where his career as an 18 year old really became into fruition. Ronaldo played 292 games and scored 192 goals in his last appearance at Manchester United whilst also winning 3 Premier League titles, a FA Cup, 2 League Cups and a Champions League.

The deal is worth a reported 15 million Euros with an additional 8 million Euros in add-ons. While with Juventus he won 2 Serie A titles and a Coppa Italia.

Ronaldo returns 9 years later at the ripe age of 36. He also spent 9 years at Real Madrid where Ronaldo really worked his reputation of goals, trophies and amongst the greats status. This included 4 Champions League’s and 2 La Liga titles.
