Arsenal Sign Nuno Tavares

Arsenal are looking to improve their squad after a season without a European place. They have signed young 21 year old Nuno Tavares from Benfica for a fee of £6.8 million. He made 25 appearances for the first team after appearing in the Portuguese Super Cup which he subsequently won. Tavares usually operates as a left back and will join his teammates after his isolation period as their first summer signing for 2021. The last time these two sides met in last seasons Round of 32 for the Europa League, Tavares played in the second leg as a late substitute.
