Antoine Griezmann Re-Joins Atletico Madrid

2 years after leaving Atletico Madrid, Griezmann finds himself back in the capital to sign for Atletico Madrid on a season long loan. Griezmann scored 133 goals in his first spell at Atletico. This comes on the transfer deadline day, and Barcelona may look at Luuk De Jong as a direct replacement for the Frenchman. However, he has only scored 10 goals in 2 seasons at Sevilla.

The deal also has a mandatory payment within the loan deal, set to be around 40 million Euros as Barcelona desperately need funds.

Griezmann won the Copa Del Ray at Barcelona, with 74 appearances and 22 goals.

Griezmann has spent his whole career in Spain.
